Can I contact Aries for a small electrical job?
Yes. You can enquire about an extra power point, replacement switches, new lighting or another small job. Tell us your Auckland suburb and what you need so we can discuss the scope and availability.
Who carries out the electrical work?
Aries coordinates the electricians we regularly work with. They carry out the electrical work, while we manage how it fits with the building work and other trades. You have a clear point of contact for the overall job.
Can you coordinate electrical work during a kitchen or bathroom renovation?
Yes. We can plan the electrical work alongside the building work, plumbing and finishing stages. Tell us about the appliances, lighting, power points and ventilation you are considering so these can be discussed before the layout is finalised.
Can I use my own electrician?
Yes. If you already have an electrician you want to use, we are happy to work in with them. Let us know early so we can agree the scope, responsibilities and timing together.
Do you arrange rewiring and switchboard work?
Yes. Our electrical service includes rewiring for individual rooms or whole houses, as well as switchboards, fuse boxes and circuit breakers. The electrician assesses the existing installation and the work needed before the scope is agreed.
Can you help with outdoor lighting and extractor fans?
Yes. We can arrange outdoor and security lighting, ceiling fans, extractor fans and fittings. Share what you want to improve and where, so the electrician can discuss suitable options for the property.
How much will the electrical work cost?
Cost depends on the work involved, the existing installation, access, fittings and any associated building repairs. Send us a brief description and your suburb. We will discuss what information or site visit is needed to prepare a quote.
Can electrical work be combined with wall repairs and painting?
Yes. When electrical work is part of a building project, we can include the agreed wall or ceiling repairs, plastering and painting in the overall plan. This helps you understand who is handling each stage and what is included.
