Can you provide a report or assessment for my insurance claim?
Yes. Aries Builders can inspect building damage, investigate the likely cause and prepare a written report, photographs and a scope of work for your insurer to review. Where needed, we use moisture testing and thermal imaging to help assess water damage.
How long does an insurance repair take?
Timing depends on the extent of damage, drying requirements, approval of the work, trade availability and materials. Once the scope is agreed, we give you a realistic programme and keep you updated as the repair progresses.
What happens if you find extra damage once the repair starts?
We record any additional damage with photographs and explain what further work is needed. We discuss changes to the scope and cost with you and, where applicable, your insurer or assessor before carrying out additional work.
What types of insurance repairs do you carry out in Auckland?

HOW IT WORKS
A clear path from damage to reinstatement
1. Inspect and investigate
We assess the affected areas and look into the likely cause. For water damage, moisture testing and thermal imaging help guide the investigation. Some concealed damage may only become clear when materials are opened up.
2. Document the repair scope
We set out the proposed repairs with supporting photographs and building information for you and your insurer or assessor to review.
3. Agree the work and organise the trades
Once the scope, costs and authorisation are confirmed, we arrange the repair sequence, materials and trades. Where drying is needed, this is addressed before reinstatement.
4. Repair and keep you informed
We complete the agreed building work, coordinate the finishing trades and communicate progress. If extra damage is uncovered, we document it and discuss the next steps before proceeding.
